The Commission for Taxi Regulation is an independent public body, the principal function of which is the development and maintenance of a regulatory framework for the control and operation of small public service vehicles (SPSVs) which comprise taxis, wheelchair accessible taxis, hackneys, wheelchair accessible hackneys and limousines.
